Rüdiger Voigt, M.A., is a political scientist. His main research areas are comparative politics and international relations. Since 2015 he is doctoral student at the University of Cologne (Germany).

2008 to 2010: interruption of academic studies
Due to assistance and care for a critically ill near relative I restricted my university activities considerably.

2002 - ?: Geography studies
I studied Geography at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms Universität Bonn (University of Bonn). My interests were Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing and Human Geography. Minors were Computer Science and Public Law. Due to the interruption (see above) I decided to stop this second course of study and finished without a degree to focus on my studies in Cologne.
